The Obama Presidency Continues to Take Shape
President-Elect Barack Obama continues to round out his White House and Cabinet positions with appointees drawn
from the Illinois political mafia. This week he named two more cabinet level appointees from Illinois, Congressman Ray
La Hood (R-Peoria), Secretary of Transportation, and Arne Duncan, CEO Chicago Public Schools as Secretary of
Education.
His choice of La Hood as Secretary of Transportation won him some accolades for bi-partisanship. This is a little
misleading, however. La Hood is one of those familiar Illinois Republicans who offers token opposition to the state’s
democrats to maintain the illusion of a two party system, but in Washington, they often side with the socialist/democrats
in Congress.
In 2000, La Hood teamed up with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) to promote a Constitutional Amendment to do away with the
Electoral College. Three years before in 1997, La Hood actually introduced such an amendment on the floor of the
House.
The Electoral College was included in the Constitution of 1787 after a month long floor debate to protect the Office of
President from uninformed voters. It is only natural that socialists and Democrats would oppose this idea, since their
primary means of gaining public office lies in turning out uninformed voters. The main thrust of organizations like
ACORN and other “get out the vote” drives is to get uninformed voters to the polls. Little if any effort is made in actually
educating voters in what they are voting for. Invariably these organizations promote democratic candidates with socialist
leanings.
As we have pointed out in previous articles, the preservation of the Electoral College is important in preventing socialist
leaning states with large population centers controlled by Democratic machines from taking over the White House as a
matter of routine.
In selecting his Secretary of Education, Obama chose the CEO of Chicago Public Schools, one of the least successful
Education systems in the U.S. As head of CPS, Arne Duncan established schools and curriculums that promote a
modified socialist worldview. Duncan was appointed as head of CPS shortly after a 2001 hunger strike by fourteen
members of Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood protesting the postponement of a planned high school in the
community.
One of the schools established under Duncan’s watch was the “Social Justice High School” that opened in 2005 as one
of four small schools in Little Village patterned after the models advocated by William Ayers and Barack Obama and the
Annenberg Challenge. Barack Obama is a former Director of Annenberg Challenge, established by Ayers in connection
with the University of Illinois where Ayers is a Professor of Education.
The latest innovation of the Social Justice High School is the “Social Justice High School - Pride Campus,” a High School
for Homosexuals. The Pride Campus is similar to the high school for gays recently opened in New York City. CNS News

As Obama continues to line up the major players in his coming administration, it is apparent that he intends to live up to
his advance billing and running the most socialistic administration in U.S. history, although you would never know it from
reading the national media. His cabinet picks continue to be hailed as “centrists” and “moderates”, regardless of their
past history of promoting socialist causes.

(Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered) or sexual minorities within his own state is now in a federal position and
will be able to influence legislation and budgets on a federal level,”
